At the same time, we make sure to highlight the local products of Messinia and strengthen their contribution to local gastronomy. Semi-hard sfela cheese, lalaggia (twisted, fried pastries), Kalamon olives and Messinian olive oil are protagonists both in our kitchen and in the exhibition of traditional products that has its own unique place inside the hotel.
The hotel, having as its philosophy "THINK LOCAL", is a pioneer in the support, application and promotion of Messinian gastronomy, with its first concern being the promotion of traditional products from local producers. Our intention is to be helpful in a synergy of union of the small treasures of Messinia with tourism.
Inside the hotel there is a product exhibition that showcases the Messinian way of life through traditional recipes and local raw materials. In the hotel showroom there is also the possibility of presenting and tasting olive oil, wine, honey and other local products.
